Instructor and Creative Director  – MindMarket
Provided creative leadership for the MindMarket Design Lab allowing organizations the opportunity to engage CCAD’s top talent in solving design challenges. The interdisciplinary “agency” incorporated Design Thinking, Agile Processes, UX, and UI principles on real projects for real clients.

Visiting Professor – Brand and Market Development
Created the Brand and Market Development course for brand positioning, identity, and messaging using qualitative, and quantitative research to ensure marketplace viability. The class was selected for the AIRSTREAM concept project for the branding and marketing of an innovative – work/live trailer currently in development

Visiting Professor – Advanced Typography
Co-authored the revision of the advanced typography syllabus to reflect the use of typography in digital and time-based media

Visiting Professor – Introduction to Advertising and Graphic Design
Restructured the introductory course to include principles of design strategy

Visiting Professor – Introduction to Visual Communications
Restructured the introductory course to accommodate students from a variety of majors

Adjunct Instructor – Advanced Branding Concepts
Created Advanced Branding Concepts course to explore new approaches to brand creation, management, and promotion. Student work won multiple ADDY awards, including STUDENT BEST OF SHOW in 2012 and 2013

Instructor – Business Practices for Creative Careers
A course is designed to give students an introduction to the opportunities and challenges of business practices for creative careers. Students explore the importance of intellectual property, invoicing, contracts, and managing clients. The course focuses on self-promotion through online blogs and social media, owning and operating your own business and capitalizing on freelance opportunities. Professional panels and guest speakers contribute to real-world experience in the classroom.

Instructor – Marketing with meaning
Lead a workshop that uses the principles of psychology and cognitive science to help new business owners identify communication translating the heart & soul of what they do and say to those who care. The workshop uses imaging and messaging exercises to identify their mission, positioning, and target audience.

Instructor – Marketing made easy
This workshop takes new business owners through techniques and resources that drive their message, market products and effectively build small businesses. They learn how to generate a loyal customer base through social media, video content, networking and open source templates.
